Episode 4 – Electric Rain interview @ the Expression Launch in Chicago

Electric Rain just announced the public beta of their StandOut presentation product (very cool app!). We caught up with them at the Microsoft Expression Studio launch in Chicago. Their lead designer, Stuart Feldman and product designer, Nick Patterson walked us through the application. This is an incredible tool that leverages the Microsoft .NET 3.0 WPF platform and the Expression Blend tool. Amazing!!

The Expression Launch took place in three different cities across the US. San Francisco, Chicago, New York. We dropped in on the Chicago launch to check things out and we ran in to several of our friends like the guys from Electric Rain, thirteen23, Eric Meyer, Dave Bost, Chris Bernard… we also met a lot of other interesting people. Special thanks to the Expression team for allowing us to interview people and to Prestige Staffing for sponsoring this video! Look for several of the interviews to come out over the next couple of weeks here on!

Episode 1 – MVP 2007 Summit

Posted in Microsoft Events with tags , , , , , , , on April 18, 2007 by calebjenkins

This is the first of many CommunityCast videos! Mostly we are going to focus on interviews with different individuals, but I think that we’ll try and do an overview video (like this one) for most events to kick off the set of interviews.

The Microsoft MVP Global Summit is an invite only event where people come from all over the world to spend a week with the Microsoft product teams in Redmond, provide direct feedback and learn about the future plans of the Microsoft

See how many people you recognize, plus please give some feedback… we really want to know what you like about the CommunityCast video (and what should be improved)!

Special thanks to Improving Enterprises for sponsoring this video… and to the rest of our launch sponsors!
